Missionvision mission

The Research Skills Network was founded in 2012 by Entrepreneur and academic, Dr. Roger Smith as a research skills resource website. RSN’s mission is to improve the research skills of Caribbean nationals resulting in high quality research output and increase publication in the region. Our primary aim is to empower Caribbean scholars, academics, graduate students and Higher education practitioners to publish in top tier journals and participate in conference proceedings at the highest level.

We aim to achieve this by providing an interactive website containing some of the best links to research presentations, research training materials, research publications, podcasts and videos from world renowned scholars and academics posted on the internet.

Through this portal we also aim to facilitate research collaboration and sharing of resources amongst local and international scholars, academics and practitioners by offering interactive tools such as blogs and forums where researchers will have the opportunity to share ideas, resources and communicate freely and easily at their convenience 24 hours a day.

This website also contains application tools such as our Project tracker utility which is intended to help researchers organize their research and keep track of all important project files and attach them to projects, milestones, tasks and discussions.
